Changing the Flow
FLOW is the permanent initiative that emerged from the Gordon Water Group of Concerned Scientists and Citizens (see Our History).
In October 2007, the Gordon Water Group released, Changing the Flow: A Blueprint for Federal Action on Freshwater. The report presents twenty-five recommended actions built around seven priority areas. They are essential steps that would re-ignite the federal government’s role in sustaining this most precious resource and help guide our nation to a sustainable freshwater future.
FLOW will continue to work with all levels of government, businesses, First Nations and civil society to encourage movement towards a Canada-wide water strategy. We will report on progress through this website, the FLOW Monitor and other communications.
